About the Role:
Join The Learning Tree as a Lead Toddler Teacher and make a difference in the lives of young children! In this role, you will guide and inspire toddlers in a nurturing environment while fostering their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to toddlers' developmental needs.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and milestones.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
- EDU 119 or a degree in early childhood or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a classroom/ group setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education, especially focused on toddlers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Passion for nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
- Creative and adaptable teaching style that engages young learners.
